QUICK RESPONSE INSTRUCTIONS (5S)
Lean management
1. CONTAIN (1S)
- Take Re-Absorbent Oil from the designated location.
- Build a dam around the spill to prevent the liquid from escaping into the sewage system.
- Health and safety: Wear protective gloves!
2. SPRINKLE AND COLLECT (2S)
- Cover the spill with a thin layer of sorbent.
- Wait a moment for the sorbent to change color (absorb the contamination). Re-Absorbent Oil works very quickly!
ADVANTAGE: When used correctly, our sorbent produces minimal dust (less than 5%), does not create slippery mud, is very light, has 600% absorbency, is hydrophobic, and is 100% recycled – supporting sustainable development (ESG)!
3. CLEAN UP (3S / ENVIRONMENT)
- Sweep the used material thoroughly onto a clean floor.
- Dispose of it in a red container (Hazardous Waste 15 02 02*).
- DO NOT: Dispose of in a regular trash can! Re-Absorbent Oil can be thermally recycled in high-temperature furnaces and used to recover energy! (GOZ)
4. RESTORE STANDARD (4S)
- Put the brush and dustpan back in their designated place.
- Refill the container if the sorbent is running low.
5. SELF-DISCIPLINE (5S)
- Report the incident to your supervisor.

CLEAN FLOOR = NO SLIPS with Re-Absorbent Oil!
NO MUD = CLEAN SHOES THROUGHOUT THE FACILITY
