Properties of Re-Absorbent Oil
RE-ABSORBENT OIL is a granular sorbent of various degrees of fineness, odorless, beige in color for absorbing oil spills from solids and liquids.
It was created by deep recycling of PUR polyurethane foam, after grinding and degassing.
The PUR polyurethane foam was recovered from refrigerators recycled at the Polska Korporacja Recyklingu Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Processing Plant.
Product Features:
- Oil absorbency 600%
- Bulk density equal to 53 g/l
- Buoyancy of 100% (does not absorb water)
- Content of grains with d>4 mm less than 0.05%
- Content of grains with d<0.125 mm less than 5%
- Used under appropriate conditions, it is not chemically reactive.
- Does not react with liquids, except with special solvents for PUR foam.
- It decomposes above 280 degrees Celsius.
- Shelf life when stored properly is unlimited.
- It has no toxic properties.
- Does not pose a threat to the environment.
- It does not dissolve in water
Collect the used sorbent and hand it over to a specialized company for disposal.
